Black Friday
From TheKCGuy
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving when the Christmas shopping season is supposed to start. It's hard to say how Black Friday 2008 is going to go. With retail shopping down quite a bit, retailers may be fighting over each other for fewer shoppers by offering better deals, or they may build up their attempts to separate you from your money through unscrupulous or deceptive means. Either way, it looks like it will be an exciting year.
There are typically some absolutely terrific deals around town if you know where to look for them. Fortunately, there are some websites springing up to help you find some of the best ones:

- Amazon's Back Friday deals
- http://www.dealtaker.com/

- Consumer World has a great article on finding the best deals during Black Friday.
- Consumer Reports has a good article on 11 Ways to Strike Gold on Black Friday

I'll post more of them as we get closer and I find good ones. Last year, I got a great deal on a computer display, so I'll probably pick something to get this year and see how I do. Perhaps a new TV is in my future.
Don't forget, you can also celebrate Buy Nothing Day on Black Friday.
