From TheKCGuy
I hear that 39th Street Mama’s is now open. Formerly Nichol's Lunch, home of the dirtiest kitchen in Kansas City, this spot right next door to Missie B's has been home to some of the strangest dining experiences in Kansas City. I'm curious what it's like now, but probably not curious enough to stop in and check it out.
On a more family-friendly front, Hannah Montania is sweeping the city. McFadden's will start offering chicken fingers and cheese quesadillas tonight in order to attract the younger crowd. Perhaps they'll find that place more tolerable than the rest of the town, who has already started giving up on it. That will probably be the case if the Hannanites are interested in exceptionally loud music, long bathroom lines, and cocktails served in plastic cups.
Weekend Wrapup
- Cheifs lost again. What a drag.
- I stopped into Blue Stem and Pot Pie. I'll probably write up a more comprehensive review later, but I put down some of my thoughts on Saturday
Looking Ahead This Week
- It looks like it's supposed to be warmish for a few days, and then possibly getting snowy or rainy later in the week.
Today's Events
- Hannah Montana at the Sprint Center
