It's a gorgeous day in Kansas City this Saturday. It's supposed to be in the 60's and mostly sunny all day, so what are you doing inside, goofing off on the Internet?
Me, I think I'm headed out on the motorcycle. I'll probably swing downtown and check out the Power and Light District to see what Vinino looks like now that it's open. I'll also probably cruise past the Mayor Barkley park to see where they're thinking of putting that GSA building. I'll have to grab one of those Boulevard Smokestack beers on the way home so that I can have something to pour back this evening. Don't let anyone tell you that "Long Strange Triple" is the best. They're wrong. It's the "Double Wide IPA".
Gary Lezak's Winter Forecast for this year came out last night. It sounds like he's predicting a more mild winter than usual. That's OK, I guess, but boy do I miss those winters that we used to have that brought us more snow than we could deal with.
