It's Sunday again, and that's football day again. Unfortunately, it's about 60 degrees outside, so who the heck wants to watch football? I can hardly do it while it's like this outside. Instead, I've been planning up to take a MAX Bus Pub Crawl. I'll grab a few friends, hop on the MAX bus, and head downtown taking on a beer at a handful of stops along the way. I'm not sure which stops to hit, though, so I'm still in the planning stages. I'll be sure to let you guys know how it turns out.
Also, I'm starting to devise my plans for Black Friday. That's the Friday after Thanksgiving when all the stores have those "Doorbuster" deals designed to get you shopping like crazy first thing in the morning. Last year I grabbed a great flat screen display for my computer. I think I'm after a TV this year. I really hope I can get a good deal without waiting in the cold line before light on Friday. I'll keep you posted on that, too.
Oh, one more thing. I've learned Stroud's new location is going to be on the hill overlooking the Shawnee Mission Parkway and 55th Street intersection, where the Breadmaker used to be. That's exciting news. I'm glad to know that they're going to replace their 87th and Troost location and that it's not going to be way out South. I'm looking forward to having some more fried chicken and enormous family style helpings of sides.
