Would you like for some of your artwork to be admired by criminals and cops on a daily basis? The City of Kansas City, Missouri is seeking artists or artist collaborations to develop innovative, original Art for the Kansas City Police Metro Patrol Station near the intersection at Prospect and 75th Streets. This is actually the first I've heard that they're building a new Metro Patrol station. I think the current one is the one on 63rd street, which has been around for a while. I may have to head over there and check it out.

I ran across an interesting opinion about "No-TIF Districts" on the Kansas City Post blog this morning. It's worth a quick read.
