From TheKCGuy
I'm always on the prowl for a good calzone around town. I think they're the perfect lunch food, and according to Seinfeld, George Steinbrenner agrees. I don't do very well on finding them, though. I've heard d'Bronx makes a good calzone, but I think they take a while, which I'm not a fan of at lunchtime. Perhaps I ought to call in ahead of time.
Jovito's on State Line offers calzones, and they're not too bad. I headed over there recently and chose a meatball calzone out of the three or four that they had in the case. It was pretty good stuff, but not the best I've ever had. If you find yourself in the southland during lunchtime, you can do far worse than stopping into Jovito's for some good Italian food.
In other news, I understand that there's a Staples coming to Ward Parkway Shopping Center in the space on the East side. That's good to see that they can fill that spot, I always wonder about the health of that mall.
