On the first Friday of each month, the crossroads district in Kansas City becomes a great destination for art lovers. Many galleries in the area are opened up to encourage visitors. You can also often find live music and drink specials at surrounding establishments.
But, local blogger Toellner describes First Friday doesn't have to be about the crossroads district. He lists some galleries that he enjoyed that weren't in the crossroads district. I guess you can find art and fun in lots of spots in KC.
