Eric Bowers takes some pretty good photos around town, and he recently put up a few pictures from Kauffman Stadium that are worth checking out.

First, is a fisheye view of the stadium that shows (in addition to the new, giant scoreboard) the progress being made on over the left field wall. The visitors' dugout is usable now, and the mound of dirt appears to be shrinking. Not pictured are the tunnel entrances to the lower level that I think are now open.

The second is a fireworks shot of the Kansas City Sky Show from last Friday night. I heard it was a great fireworks show, though Eric Bowers pointed out that there were video clips stuffed into the middle of it. I can see how that would be annoying. It will be interesting to see how this event continues into the future. It looks like we no longer start our season at home, and I guess we've lost our Independence Day games, so this may become an annual tradition.
