Pickerman's

Pickerman's soup and sandwich joint in Brookside is one of my favorite lunch spots. For some reason, I don't make it there very much during the week, but it makes a Saturday of running errands and doing "honey-do's" around the house much more tolerable. The great sandwiches that they serve beat the pants off of the larger chain joints like Subway and Quizno's. Plus, it has that feeling of place that's not a chain. There are no molded plastic benches next to the tables here.
I usually go with the simple Ham and Cheese from Pickerman's, but I see tons of people carting out their soups, so I'm betting they're pretty danged good, too.
