From TheKCGuy
I'm becoming more convinced that summer is actually over in Kansas City. For a while, I thought we were just in a rainy period with a few hurricanes and such contributing to our cool weather. But now even when it's sunny and beautiful it doesn't get scorchingly hot. So, I guess we're heading into fall. That means that the fall festivals like the Plaza Art Fair are coming upon us. All weekend, you can head down to the Plaza, check out some works from non-local artists, enjoy a sampling of food and drink from local restaurants, and listen to some live music.
In other news, Tony of Tony's KC fame pointed out that they're offering archery deer permits for city parks in KCMO again this year. I just think that would be a blast to take a deer in Riverfront park or somewhere similar.
This weekend
- Arts and Eats Festival in Mission
- Plaza Art Fair
- Waldo Fall Festival and pub crawl "Faldo Waldo Crawldo"
Today in Kansas City
