I'm a bit of a trivia hound, so I sometimes drop in to a local watering hole to play a bit of trivia. I prefer live trivia games over the NTN computerized, national games, but they both have their moments.

Live Trivia

• The Westport Flea Market features trivia on Wednesday evenings at 8pm for $5 per person. It's a pretty lively game, and you can win a few bucks if you're good at it. I think they also do it on Thursdays, too, but I've never tried it then.
• The Embassy on Broadway has trivia on Monday nights. I can't tell if it's just the first Monday of the month, or if it's every Monday.
• I've heard that The Brick offers trivia on Friday nights from 7-9
• There's a sign outside of Coach's that says they have trivia on Tuesday nights. I haven't tried it.
• Rumour has it that Tanner's on 87th street does trivia on Tuesday evenings.
• Flying Saucer is planning a trivia night on Tuesdays at 7:30.

NTN Trivia

• Johnny's in Prairie Village has NTN all the time. There seems to be someone playing there almost all time time, which makes it a little more fun.
• Ugly Joe's on 103rd, just East of State Line has a pretty active NTN crowd. They also have a zillion TV's.

I'm sure there are more places around town to get your trivia fill, so I'll keep my eye out for good spots. If you know of one, let me know
